Alfred Baur (curative teacher)

Alfred Baur (born August 31, 1925 in Wels ; † February 2, 2008 in Kirchschlag near Linz ) was the founder of chirophonetics .

After training as a mechanical engineer, he completed military service in World War II and was taken prisoner by the Soviets there. After his release from prison he studied German , history and philosophy . During his studies he came into contact with anthroposophy . After his dissertation, he worked as a curative teacher and speech therapist. Since 1957 he has run his own practice for speech therapy and curative education together with his wife Ilse Baur , who is an anthroposophic doctor. In 1972 he developed the basics for chirophonetics. From 1976 he gave regular courses in this area.
