Alfred Corbin

Alfred Corbin (* 1916 in Paris ; † July 28, 1943 in Berlin-Plötzensee ) was a French resistance fighter against Nazi Germany in the service of the Red Orchestra , the part of the Soviet espionage network responsible for Western Europe during World War II .

Corbin was the head of the Simex resistance group in France. After his exposure, he was arrested in Paris on November 19, 1942. He was sentenced to death and on 28 July 1943 Berlin-Plötzensee executed .
