Alfred Jaklitsch (also Freddy Jaklitsch ; born January 22, 1960 in Bad Aussee ) is an Austrian singer , band leader , composer and music producer . He is the head of the Seer group .

Live and act

Already during school, Alfred Jaklitsch founded the band Joy together with Andy Schweitzer and Manfred Temmel , but initially it did not go beyond regional importance. It was only after a re-establishment in 1984 that it became more successful. The band got a record deal . Between 1986 and 2014 seven albums were released in English, with Jaklitsch also contributing some titles as a composer. The band played in the GDR television program Ein Kessel Buntes , in the USA , in East Asia and in Moscow . Jaklitsch was a member of Joy from 1984 to 1988 and from 1994 to 2013.

In 1996, Alfred Jaklitsch and Manfred Temmel founded the Seer group , which maintains a mix of styles of traditional folk music and pop music with German texts with a touch of dialect. The group achieved huge success. 16 of their albums achieved platinum and 3 gold status in Austria . All compositions come from Alfred Jaklitsch, who also acted as producer for the most part. The Seer were guests on all major television shows.

In 2018 Alfred Jaklitsch released his first solo album ER / Sternfischen with 13 own titles.

Jaklitsch is married, has two children and lives in Bad Aussee.
