Alfred James Wilmott
Alfred James Wilmott (born December 31, 1888 in Tottenham , Middlesex , † January 26, 1950 in South Kensington , London ) was an English botanist . Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Wilmott "; earlier the abbreviation “ Wilm. " in use.
Wilmott worked at the British Museum in London. He was editor of the 10th edition of the manual of British botany by Charles Cardale Babington , published in 1922 , but also published 14 mostly smaller articles in the journal Watsonia .
