Alfred Johannot
Alfred Johannot (born March 21, 1800 in Offenbach am Main , † December 7, 1837 in Paris ) was a French engraver and painter.
Alfred Johannot was the brother of Charles and Tony Johannot . He learned the art of engraving from his brother Tony and made the coppers and vignettes for the editions of the French translations by Walter Scott , James Fenimore Cooper and Lord Byron .
