Alfred Kowalsky

Alfred Kowalsky (born February 17, 1879 in Pfaffenthal , Luxembourg ; † May 14, 1943 in Metz , Moselle department ) was a Luxembourg composer .

Life

Kowalsky studied organ with Charles-Marie Widor in Paris and later composition with Richard Strauss in Berlin .

Honors

A street was named after him in the Pfaffenthal district of his hometown Luxembourg.
