Alfred Nann

Alfred Nann (born September 29, 1926 in Stuttgart ) is a German agricultural scientist and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1943, Nann was drafted into the Wehrmacht and participated in World War II as a soldier until 1945 . He then completed a degree in agriculture, which he completed with an examination to become a qualified farmer and a doctorate. From 1954 to 1962 he worked as an agriculture teacher and specialist advisor, most recently with the title of Upper Government Agriculture Councilor.

Nann is a member of the SPD and was councilor of the city of Öhringen before it on 17 February 1969 on the country's list of SPD Baden-Wuerttemberg for the retired deputy Ursula Krips in the German Bundestag nachrückte . In the 1969 federal election , however, he was unable to defend his seat.
