Ursula Krips

Ursula Krips (née Brendel; born February 15, 1933 in Mannheim ) is a former German politician ( SPD ). She was a member of the German Bundestag from 1965 to 1969 .

Life and work

After graduating from high school, Krips began studying economics and social sciences at the universities of Mannheim, Heidelberg , Göttingen and Cologne , which she obtained in 1955 with the examination for a degree in business administration and in 1958 with a doctorate in Dr. rer. pole. finished. Then she worked until 1962 as a consultant in the economic science institute of the trade unions in Cologne. From 1962 to 1965 she was in the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi) in the function of an auxiliary officer ( officer involved). After leaving the Bundestag and the absence of leave of absence, she initially resumed her work at the BMWi, where she was promoted to senior government councilor and assigned the function of a consultant ( head of department ). In 1969 she was transferred to the Federal Chancellery , where she was group leader and in 1986 she was transferred back to the BMWi. Here she headed a sub-department as ministerial director .

MPs

Krips ran in the 1965 Bundestag election in the Stuttgart III constituency , but was elected to the German Bundestag via the SPD Baden-Württemberg's state list , to which she belonged until her resignation on January 31, 1969. She later resigned from the SPD.
