Alfred Ollesch

Alfred Ollesch (born November 20, 1915 in Castrop-Rauxel , † April 16, 1978 in Cologne ) was a German engineer and politician ( FDP ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and secondary school, Ollesch completed an apprenticeship at the State Engineering School for Mechanical Engineering, from which he graduated as a mechanical engineer. He then worked as a production engineer and steiger in a coking plant. He moved in 1936 to the military and became a professional soldier in the Navy Air Force of the Navy . From 1939 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier , most recently with the rank of sergeant major.

In addition to his political functions, Ollesch was a member of the administrative board of the Deutsche Bundesbahn .

Political party

Ollesch joined the FDP in 1947 . He was first elected chairman of the FDP district association Recklinghausen and later chairman of the FDP district association Ruhr-Ost. He was also a member of the state board of the FDP North Rhine-Westphalia .

MP

Ollesch was from 1952 to 1965 council member of the city ​​of Recklinghausen and chairman of the FDP parliamentary group there. From June 1955 to September 1961 he was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament . In the 1961 Bundestag election, he was elected to the German Bundestag via the state list of the FDP North Rhine-Westphalia , to which he belonged until his death. From 1969 to 1978 he was Parliamentary Managing Director of the FDP parliamentary group.

Public offices

Ollesch served as mayor and deputy mayor of the city of Recklinghausen from 1952 to 1954.
