Alfred de Grazia

Alfred Joseph de Grazia (born December 29, 1919 in Chicago - † July 12, 2014 ) was an American political scientist . He defended Immanuel Velikovsky's catastrophic ideas . His brother is the political scientist Sebastian de Grazia .
De Grazia's parents come from Sicily . He grew up in Chicago and studied at the University of Chicago . During the Second World War he enlisted in the United States Army . On December 31, 2013, he was accepted into the Legion of Honor by François Hollande . De Grazia died in 2014 at the age of 94.
