Alfredo Magarotto

Alfredo Magarotto (born February 16, 1927 in Pernumia , Province of Padua , Italy ) is Bishop Emeritus of Vittorio Veneto .

Life

Alfredo Magarotto was ordained a priest on July 9, 1950 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Chioggia on February 22, 1990 . The episcopal ordination received his Cardinal Bernardin Gantin on March 24 of that year; Co- consecrators were Sennen Corrà , Bishop of Concordia-Pordenone , and Antonio Mattiazzo , Bishop of Padua .

On May 31, 1997, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Vittorio Veneto and on December 3, 2003 accepted his resignation because of his age.
