Alfredo Tinoco

Alfredo Tinoco (born March 13, 1934 in Villa Carbon , Baja California Sur ) is a retired Mexican obstacle , medium and long distance runner .

In 1959 he won the Central American and Caribbean Games over 3000 m obstacle and won silver over 1500 m . At the Pan American Games in Chicago he won bronze over the 3000 m obstacle with his personal best of 8: 58.0 min. He was fourth over 5000 m and eighth over 1500 m.

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he was eliminated from over 3000 m obstacle in the preliminary run.
