Algimantas Gaubas
Algimantas Gaubas (born June 18, 1955 in Drąsučiai , Kuršėnai district ) is a Lithuanian politician. He is the mayor of the Šiauliai district municipality .
Life
After graduating from high school, he graduated from the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas with a diploma in 1978 . From 1995 to 2004 and from 2005 to 2008 he headed a subdivision of the Šiauliai district administration . From 2004 to 2005 he was and since 2008 he is again mayor of the Rajongemeinde Šiauliai .
From 1990 he was a member of the LDDP , from 2001 of the LSDP .
