Ali Asad

Ali Asad (born October 11, 1961 in Salamiyya , Syria ) is a British cameraman of Syrian origin.

Life

Asad was born in Syria but grew up in England. He has been working there as a cameraman for film and television since 1996. In 2002 he was the cameraman for Ten Minutes Older's 15 short films . A year later he was working in the film Poem - I Put My Foot In The Air And She Carried With Me . In 2009 he worked in the horror film Doghouse and in 2010 in Footsoldier 2 .

Among other things, Asad is repeatedly hired by the director Julian Gilbey as cameraman, for example in Footsoldier and the thriller A Lonely Place to Die - Highlands Death Trap .
