Ali Claudi

Ali Claudi (born October 17, 1942 ) is a German jazz and blues musician (guitarist and singer).

Claudi has been working as a solo guitarist in jazz since 1960. In 1964 he founded the Boogie Woogie Company with the pianist Leo von Knobelsdorff , with whom he performed at the Comblain Jazz Festival in 1965 . He also played at the Berlin Jazz Days (1969), at festivals in Maastricht and Brussels, at the Offside 2008 and several times at the Leverkusen Jazz Days . He works with different groups of his own, but also joined the Krautrock band Gomorrha from 1969 to 1973 . He also accompanied musicians such as Bill Coleman , Big Joe Turner , Jimmy Woode ,Eddie Boyd , Booker Ervin , Stu Martin , Dusko Goykovich , Wilton Gaynair , Kurt Edelhagen or Sal Nistico .
