Aleksandr Makarenko
Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Makarenko ( Belarusian Аляксандр Аляксандравіч Макаранка , Russian Александр Александрович Макаренко ; born February 2, 1990 in Orsha ) is a white weightlifter .
Career
Makarenko was the 2007 European Youth Champion. In 2010 he finished 26th in the class up to 94 kg at the World Championships . In 2011 he became the U23 European champion and reached 13th place at the world championships . The next year Makarenko took part in the Olympic Games in London, where he was tenth. In 2013 he was fourth at the World Championships . However, he was tested positive for stanozolol during the doping control and banned for two years.
