Alice Dellal (born July 29, 1987 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ) is a British model , known for her sidecut and her punk / rock look. She is the muse for Mario Testino and is often associated with Next Management .
family
She is the daughter of the Brazilian model Andrea Dellal and her husband Guy Dellal. She is the granddaughter and heir to real estate tycoon 'Black' Jack Dellal . Her parents separated when she was seven years old. Dellal then lived with her mother in Brazil. However, they returned to Knightsbridge and their parents remarried.
Her brother Alex Dellal runs 20 Hoxton Square , an art gallery in east London, and her sister Charlotte Olympia Dellal founded the luxury shoe brand Charlotte Olympia .
Dellal is the cousin of actresses Jemima and Lola Kirke .
Career
Dellal attended Bedales School in Hampshire .
In 2008, Dellal was the face of the manufacturing company Mango . In 2011, Karl Lagerfeld chose her as the new face of the Boy Bag campaign.
Dellal is also the drummer of the gospel / lyrical / punk band Thrush Metal , a band of four friends with their own record label ( Sweet Dick Music ). Thrush Metal was founded by Dellal and Emma Chitty (bass) and Laura Fraser (vocals), who also work as models, and Isabella Ramsey, niece of the Earl of Dalhousie , (guitar).
