Alice Psaroudaki

Alice Psaroudaki (born March 20, 1970 ) is a German ballet dancer, choreographer and dance teacher.

Psaroudaki attended the dance school of the Deutsche Oper in Berlin from 1976 to 1987 , where she was a student of Tatjana Gsovsky and Gert Reinholm and received a diploma as a choreographer in 1987. 1984–85 she was also a student of Konstanze Vernon at the dance school of the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich . From 2002 to 2006 she studied choreology at the Conservatoire de Paris . In 2007 she received a diploma as a teacher of classical ballet at the Center National de la Danse .

After having been a member of the ballet of the Deutsche Oper and the Israel Ballet in Tel Aviv, Psaroudaki joined the Malmö Ballet in 1989 under the direction of Jonas Kåge , where she became a solo dancer in 1991. From 1995 to 1999 she was a solo dancer at the State Opera Unter den Linden under the direction of Michaël Denard , until 2002 with the ballet of the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau under Gonzalo Galguera and with the Ballets Ethery Pagava . Since 2007 she has been teaching at Elisabeth de Chabannes ' ballet school Les Jardins de la Danse .

Psaroudaki has worked as a choreologist for the Ballet du Rhin under Bertrand d'At (2004–05), the Kiel Ballet under Mario Schröder (2004–06) and the Ballet National des Pays-Bas under Ted Brandsen (2007). In 2010 she developed the choreological notation of Whereabouts Unknown for the Nederlands Dans Theater in the choreography of Jiří Kylián .
