Alice Superiore ( Piedmontese Àles ) is a fraction of the Italian commune ( comune ) Val di Chy of the metropolitan city of Turin in the Piedmont region .

geography

The place is in Canavese in Val Chiusella , on the left bank of the mountain river Chiusella , 51 kilometers from Turin at an altitude of 610 mslm. The village is on a hill above Lake Alice, about two kilometers from this.

history

Alice Superiore was an independent municipality until December 31, 2018 and merged with Lugnacco and Pecco on January 1, 2019 to form the new municipality of Val di Chy. The Gauna faction still belonged to the former municipality. Neighboring communities were Trausella , Meugliano , Lessolo , Rueglio , Vico Canavese , Fiorano Canavese , Issiglio , Lugnacco, Pecco and Vistrorio .
