Aljaksandr Klimenka

Aljaksandr Klimenka ( Belarusian Аляксандр Кліменка ; also Alexander Klimenko , Russian Александр Клименко ; born March 28, 1983 in Mazyr ) is a Belarusian football player .

career

Klimenko made his debut in 2001 for Slavia Masyr in the Wyschejschaja Liha . In 2003, the striker made a brief detour to Baltika Kaliningrad , but returned to Slavia Mazyr after eight games without a goal. Since 2005 he has been playing for FK Schachzjor Salihorsk . After he scored 14 goals in his first season for the new club, he was the top scorer in the Belarusian premier league a year later with 17 goals this season.

In 2007 Klimenko was appointed to the Belarusian national team for the first time .
