Allée couverte du Grimolet

The Allée couverte of Grimolet (also called Allée couverte du bourg) is located on Rue du Grimolet in the center of the town of Ploufragan in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany in France . The monument consists of the Allée couverte and a menhir indicateur (dolmen indicator) as it is known in particular from the Les Pierres-Plates complex .

The megalithic complex with a length of 14 meters consists of 24 bearing stones and two in situ cap stones made of dolerite . There are doubts about the presence of a chamber. In the facility, which was searched twice, only three axes and a few shards were found in 1948 .
