All Souls Episcopal Church
The All Souls Episcopal Church is a church building of the Scottish Episcopal Church in the Scottish village of Invergowrie in the Council Area Perth and Kinross . In 1971 the structure was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A. Furthermore, together with several associated buildings, it forms a category B monument ensemble.
history
An Episcopal Church mission had existed in Inchgowrie since 1885. The church was built by Lady Frances, widow of Arthur Kinnaird, 10th Lord Kinnaird . The Scottish architect Hippolyte Blanc was responsible for the design of the church building, which was completed in 1891 . The altar was moved to All Souls Episcopal Church by medieval Rossie Priory . In 1896, the pulpit was Carnegie & Son from Dundee completed. In the same year the Church of All Souls was consecrated .

The All Souls Episcopal Church is off Main Street in northwest Inchgowrie. The neo-Gothic cruciform church is designed in the style of the English Gothic . Its red sandstone masonry is embossed . Lancet windows or simple tracery are embedded along the facade . The steep roofs are covered with greenish slate. Buttresses run along the edges of the crossing tower , ending in pinacles . His pointed helmet has an octagonal plan and is made with dormer windows.
