All Dogs Go to Heaven (Original Title: All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series ) is an American animated series that was produced from 1996 to 1999. It is based on the cartoon Charlie - All Dogs Go to Heaven ( All Dogs Go to Heaven ) as well as on its sequel, Charlie - Ein Himmlischer Held ( All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 ). The series consists of 40 episodes as well as the 90-minute special An All Dogs Christmas Carol , which is also the third and final film in the series.

The series follows on from the end of the second film in the series, Charlie: A Heavenly Hero . Charlie and Itchy live as Guardian Angels in San Francisco . They receive their orders from the Archangel Annabelle. In fulfilling their missions, the two friends have to deal with all kinds of turbulence as well as their opponent, Carface Carruthers.

Characters

Charlie B. Barkin is a German Shepherd Dog . He lives on earth as a guardian angel. Charlie has a fickle character and gets into trouble more often.

Itchy Itchiford is a dachshund and, like his best friend Charlie, lives as a guardian angel on earth. Itchy is always loyal and very savvy.

Annabelle is an archangel who gives Charlie and Itchy their assignments. She has a good heart, but at times trusts Charlie more than she should.

Sasha LaFleur is a bitch and lives in an open relationship with Charlie. She runs a restaurant called "The Flea Bite".

Carface Carruthers is a bulldog and Charlie's opponent.
