Allen Berg (born August 1, 1961 in Vancouver ) is a retired Canadian automobile racing driver .
Career
Berg drove one season, 1986 , in Formula 1 with the Osella team. In his nine races he achieved only 12th place as the best result. Berg was far more successful in the British Formula 3 championship . Here he was second in the overall standings in 1984 behind Johnny Dumfries .
In 1991 Berg competed in the DTM for a private team in a BMW M3. His best result was eighth in the second run in Singen , which made him 25th overall in the championship.
After the end of his Formula 1 involvement, Berg continued to be active in motorsport. His greatest success was winning the Mexican Formula 3000 Championship in 1993.
