The Allen Knoll is a steep-walled and 860 m high ice dome on the Trinity Peninsula in the north of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 3 km northwest of the head end of the Russell West Glacier from a flat firn field .
The area was mapped by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in the years 1960 to 1961. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the ice dome after Keith Allen (1932-2004), radio operator of the FIDS in Hope Bay between 1959 and 1960.
