Quirin Roth

Quirin Roth (born January 8, 1943 in Munich ; † July 21, 2020 in Dürnbach (Gmund am Tegernsee) ) was a German sculptor . He is the creator of numerous sculptures in public spaces.

Life

Quirin Roth grew up in Schliersee . He learned wood carving at the Munich School of Applied Arts . After receiving several awards for his work, he studied with Hans Wimmer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg with a scholarship for gifted students . From 1966 he worked as a freelance artist.
