The Allerheiligenkirche is a pilgrimage church in the Upper Bavarian municipality of Warngau and namesake of the district of the same name, Allerheiligen . It is located about one kilometer south of Oberwarngau.

After the railway accident in Warngau on June 8, 1975, the 41 fatalities were laid out here.

Building

The church was first mentioned in 1476 in a document from the Tegernsee monastery . Two previous buildings in the 15th and 16th centuries are known. In the middle of the 18th century, today's building was redesigned in Baroque style . The last renovation was carried out from 1983 to 1989.

Furnishing

The painting of the high altar was created by Johann Sebastian Degler for the previous church.

In the church there are about 60 votive tablets showing the pilgrimage to All Saints Day. The oldest is from 1682.

Leonhardi pilgrimage

On the fourth Sunday in October there is an annual Leonhardi ride for coachmen and riders from the surrounding villages. This tradition has been taking place again since October 23, 1983 after an interruption of more than 80 years.
