The Allianz Dresdner Bauspar AG (ADB AG) was a building society based in Bad Vilbel - Dortelweil . In September 2010 it was merged with Wüstenrot Bausparkasse , part of the Wüstenrot & Württembergische group .

history

In autumn 1989 Dresdner Bank founded its building society, Dresdner Bauspar AG . The Allianz Group through the end of 1997 mh Bausparkasse , which then as Allianz Bauspar AG changed its name. After the Dresdner Bank was taken over by the Allianz Group in July 2001, both building societies were merged to form Allianz Dresdner Bauspar AG and managed under the roof of Dresdner Bank AG.

After the Allianz Group sold Dresdner Bank AG to Commerzbank AG on January 12, 2009, the building society subsidiary also went to Commerzbank. The name and external appearance of the building society subsidiary should change in mid-2009. As part of the new strategy, Commerzbank examined the sale of its building society subsidiary at the end of March 2009. The EU Commission approved the state aid for Commerzbank at the beginning of May 2009 only against an early sale of the building society subsidiary. On April 13, 2010 it was announced that the financial group Wüstenrot & Württembergische about his daughter Wüstenrot Bausparkasse the Allianz Dresdner Bauspar AG will take over. The Wüstenrot Bausparkasse AG (BSW) took over on July 8, 2010, the Allianz Dresdner Bauspar AG (ADB). The entry in the commercial register was made on September 16, 2010 with retroactive effect from January 1, 2010.

Company data

According to the 2007 annual report, around 835,000 home loan and savings contracts with a home loan and savings sum of around 19,445 million euros were managed. The ADB had around 360 employees. The balance sheet total for 2007 is 3,976.8 million euros, the profit for 2007 is 4.63 million euros.
