The Allison Bay is a small bay just west of Utstikkar glacier at the Mawson coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Lands .
Norwegian cartographers recorded them using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 , and named them Isvika ( German ice bay ). The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) made a recognized renaming in 1965. It is named after Robert William Allison (1924–2011), medical officer on Mawson ward in 1955.
