Alma Zack

Alma Zack (born November 21, 1970 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli actress and comedian.

Life

Alma Zack, who was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in Ramat Aviv , is a daughter of the pianist and professor of the Tel Aviv Music Academy Yonatan Zack and her mother Adi Etzion is an Israeli actress. She has a twin brother, Yoram, and an older brother named Dudi. During her school days, she graduated from the Hebrew Herzlia-Gymnasium in Tel Aviv and subsequently served as a psychotechnician for the Israel Defense Forces . After her military service, she studied acting at Tel Aviv University .

During her studies she also worked for a while as a flight attendant for the airline El Al and received music lessons from her father. In the late 1990s she began to work in television productions and was an understudy in a play at the Gesher Theater. She appeared on the satirical show "The Situation", guest roles on "Life Is Not All" and "The Sun", which appeared on Uzi Weil's daily series "8 Minutes a Day," and in 2002 she starred in the movie "The Wisdom of the Pretzel". When she auditioned for a program on the Israeli television broadcaster Channel 1 ( Hebrew , HaArutz HaRishon , lit.), she was discovered by editor Eretz Nehederet and included in the cast. In 2003 she took part in the satirical program "Eretz Nehederet". In 2005 she joined the cast of BeTipul as Orna Neumann and was awarded the Israeli TV Prize for Best Actress in 2008 together with Assi Levy (also for Betipul).

She also starred in the series "I Didn't Promise You and Until the Wedding", had a guest appearance on the Israeli comedy drama "Mesudarim" and in 2006 she hosted "The Festival of Israeli Songs". In 2011 she starred as Ayelet in the Israeli television program Yellow Peppers, also known as The A Word . In 2006 she made a guest appearance with the Israeli music band Teapacks .
