history

The beginnings (1984–1986)

Iorio initially played in the band V8 , which was founded in Buenos Aires in 1984. The band split after disagreements in 1986. Osvaldo Civile founded the band Horcas , Iorio the band Hermética, Adrian Cenci the band Logos and Walter Giardino the band Rata Blanca .

Hermética (1987-1994)

After V8 split up, Iorio formed the band Hermética together with Antonio Romano (guitar), Fabián Spataro (drums) and Claudio O'Connor (vocals).

Almafuerte (since 1994)

After the band Hermética broke up in 1994, Ricardo Iorio ( vocals , bass ) founded the band Almafuerte a year later, together with Claudio “El Tano” Marcielo ( guitar ) and Claudio Cardacci ( drums ). V8 was the band before Hermética was founded. Del Etorno was the name of the band's second album. After the release, Cardacci was replaced by Rodolfo Marquéz. Just a year later, Marquéz was replaced by Walter Martínez, with whom the third album En Vida , which is also the band's first live album, was released. In 1998 the band released two more albums with Almafuerte and Profeta en su Tierra . In 1999, the band's fifth studio album, A Fondo Blanco, followed . 2001 Martínez was replaced by Bin Valencia. 2001 followed with En Vivo, Obras the second live album. In 2003 the band released another album called Ultimado . In 2006 another album was released with Toro y Pampa . The band released their last studio album Trillando la Fina in 2012.
