Amphoe Na Pho ( Thai อำเภอ นา โพธิ์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the north of the province of Buri Ram . The province of Buri Ram is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Neighboring districts (clockwise from south): Phutthaisong district in Buri Ram province, Nong Song Hong district in Khon Kaen province, and Na Chueak and Yang Sisurat district in Maha Sarakham province .

history

Na Pho was initially set up as a subdistrict ( King Amphoe ) on March 31, 1981 , by separating the four tambon Na Pho, Ban Khu, Ban Du and Don Kok from Phutthaisong Amphoe . On January 1, 1988, it was promoted to Amphoe.
