Amphoe Lam Plai Mat ( Thai : อำเภอ ลำ ปลายมาศ ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) of Buri Ram Province . The province of Buri Ram is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Neighboring districts (clockwise from the northeast): the Amphoe Khu Mueang , Mueang Buri Ram , Chamni and Nong Hong of Buri Ram Province, as well as the Amphoe Huai Thalaeng , Chum Phuang and Lam Thamenchai in Nakhon Ratchasima Province .
