Amphoe Na Chueak ( Thai อำเภอ นาเชือก ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the south of the province of Maha Sarakham . The province of Maha Sarakham is located in the center of the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Na Chueak District borders the following districts (from north clockwise) to the Amphoe Kut rank , Borabue , Wapi Pathum , Na Dun and Yang Sisurat in the province of Maha Sarakham to Amphoe Na Pho of Buriram Province , and to the Amphoe Nong Song Hong and Pueai Noi of Khon Kaen Province .

history

Na Chueak was set up on July 19, 1960, initially as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating it from Borabue district. In July 1963 it was upgraded to Amphoe.
