Almazorre is a Spanish town in the foothills of the Pyrenees in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon . The place belongs to the municipality of Bárcabo . Almazorre had 22 inhabitants in 2015.

geography

Almazorre, on the eastern bank of the Vero , consists of two barrios 300 meters apart. The church and the former monastery (with remains of the abbot's house) are located in the upper barrio. Most of the residential buildings, the public buildings (e.g. the former school) and the Ermita de la Esperanza , which is now used as a parish church, are in the lower barrio .

The place borders on the Parque natural de la Sierra y los Cañones de Guara .
