Alois Klughammer

Alois Klughammer (born April 16, 1913 in Augsburg ; † July 26, 1973 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ). From 1957 to 1970 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

Life

After attending a secondary school in Augsburg, the son of a foreman first worked in industry. This was followed by a visit to the Heeresfeuerwerker school in Berlin and participation in the Second World War , most recently as a captain. In 1945 he returned from being a prisoner of war in the United States.

In 1945/46 Klughammer was one of the founders of the CSU Augsburg and Swabia. He took over the management of the CSU district associations in Augsburg and Swabia, was chairman of the Junge Union in Swabia from 1950 to 1953, and in 1953 became honorary state manager of the CSU's local political association . From 1953 he was a member of the state executive and from 1955 to 1963 a member of the executive state executive of the CSU. From February 1958 to June 1967 he was country manager of the CSU and during this period also deputy general secretary of the party. From 1967 to 1973 he was the managing director of the party-affiliated Hanns Seidel Foundation .

Klughammer was a member of the Augsburg City Council from 1952 to 1959 and a member of the main committee of the Bavarian City Association until 1959 . For the constituency of Swabia, he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from September 30, 1957, when he replaced the deceased MP Alois Schlögl , until 1970. From 1957 to 1962 he was a member of the Committee on Affairs of Displaced Persons and Victims of War, from 1957 to 1958 and from 1966 to 1970 of the Committee on Rules of Procedure and Election Review and from 1966 to 1970 of the Committee on Constitutional, Legal and Local Affairs.
