Alois Reiter (* 1968 ) is a former German biathlete .

In 1988 Alois Reiter won the individual title at the German Championships. At the Biathlon World Championships in 1989 in Feistritz , he reached 54th place in the sprint competition. The greatest success in Reiter's biathlon career was winning the 1991/92 European Biathlon Cup ahead of Holger Schönthier and Andreas Heymann . After his career, Reiter was mainly involved in young biathlon work in Ruhpolding . He was the competition director at the Bavarian School Cup races and the German Cup. On his initiative, the Biathlon Idea for the promotion of young talent was founded, of which he was acting for several years. Reiter is currently the sports manager in the biathlon department at SC Ruhpolding.
