Alois Siegel
Alois Siegel (born July 24, 1904 in Reute ; † August 9, 1970 ibid) was a German Roman Catholic clergyman.
Life
Siegel received his ordination as a priest in 1928 and initially came to Bruchsal as vicar . From 1932 to 1935 he was in Villingen and from 1935 in Waldshut . In 1938 he came to Schenkenzell , where the focus of his work remained from then on. He was initially parish administrator and pastor from 1940 until his retirement in 1966. In 1952 he received the Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany.
In addition to his pastoral work, Siegel worked as a local researcher, particularly in the field of art history and religious folk history. He also wrote articles for the Freiburger Tagespost .
