The title reached several charts. The music video received over 1.1 billion views on YouTube . It is also the first and only song by Canadian music label Monstercat to be awarded platinum by the RIAA .
The music video was released on July 2, 2016 on the Marshmello and Monstercat YouTube channels . By early February 2019, the video on Marshmello's channel had reached over 1.1 billion views.
The video shows Marshmello being bullied by his classmates . A classmate who finds him likeable goes to his house after school and watches him through the window as he produces music. She records a video of it and Marshmello becomes popular overnight when she publishes it on the internet. The video ends with Marshmello his portable EDM - pad controller takes out and organized a dance party in his classroom, all classmates and teachers dancing in to the music.
