Alsa plus , abbreviated: Alsa + is the name of a ticket offer for local public transport in the Alsace area of the French region Grand Est . The ticket is valid for individuals or groups of two to five people for any number of trips. The offer was introduced on April 1, 2010.
General
The ticket Alsa Plus is a joint offer of multimodal transport authorities in Alsace - the TER Alsace , the departments of Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin , CTS Strasbourg , SOLEA Mulhouse , TRACE Colmar , Distribus Saint-Louis , RITMO Haguenau , TIS Sélestat and PASS'O Obernai . Alsace is the first area in France to offer something similar to what is known in Germany from country tickets . The Alsa plus ticket is issued in different price levels for different areas of validity. It entitles you to any number of journeys in the selected area of validity on all means of transport ( trams , buses , regional trains in 2nd class). Alsa plus 24heures
The Alsa plus 24 heures ticket is the variant for individuals. It is issued for any day of the week and is valid for 24 hours after it has been validated.
Alsa plus Groupe Journée
The Alsa plus Groupe Journee ticket is the variant for small groups between two and five people. It is only available for journeys on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays and is valid from validation until midnight on the day in question.

Cross-border validity
In cross-border traffic, the respective variants of Alsa plus are only valid on the following sections:
- In Switzerland from and to Basel SNCF train station on TER Alsace trains, on the Distribus network and on BVB tram line 3 from and to the first stop on the Swiss side.
- In Germany on line D of the Strasbourg tram from and to the Kehl station .
sale
The ticket is sold by all participating transport companies via machines or by the bus driver. The French railway SNCF also sells tickets for all zones exclusively at its counters.
