Doris Auer
Doris Auer (born May 10, 1971 in Vienna ) is an Austrian pole vaulter , heptathlete and sprinter .
Life
At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1994 , she was part of the Austrian relay, which was disqualified in the run-up to the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 1997 she won bronze in the pole vault at the Universiade . At the European Championships in Budapest in 1998, she was eliminated in qualification. At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney she was ninth and at the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton eleventh.
So far she has been Austrian pole vault champion seven times each outdoors (1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2005, 2007, 2011) and indoors (1997, 1999–2001, 2009–2011). In 1992 she became national champion in heptathlon and in 1994 indoor champion in the 200-meter run .
