Alsensjön is a lake in the Swedish municipality of Krokom in the Jämtland County .
location
The lake is about 18 km long and measures about 3 km at its widest point. It stretches from northwest to southeast and is about 2 km north of European route 14 . The inflow is through Åringsån and Faxån, the outflow is in Ytterån.
Places and traffic
The parish Alsen is located on the bank . At the end of the 19th century, steamboat traffic began to transport passengers and goods on the lake and was operated until 1949. In Glösa am See you can find rock carvings from the Stone Age around 4000 BC. Chr.
