Altevir de Araújo
Altevir de Araújo ( Altevir Silva Filho de Araújo; * December 23, 1955 ) is a former Brazilian sprinter and long jumper .
In 1979 he won bronze in the 4-by-100-meter relay at the Pan American Games in San Juan and was fourth in the 200 m and long jump. At the Athletics World Cup in Montreal , he won with the American team in the 4-by-100-meter relay, and at the South American Athletics Championships in Bucaramanga , he managed a double victory over 100 m and 200 m.
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow he was eighth in the 4 x 100 meter relay and reached the quarter-finals over 200 m .
In 1981 he won silver over 100 m at the South American Championships in La Paz .
