Old hole

Altloch is a deserted village in the municipality of Gross-Gerau in southern Hesse Groß-Gerau .

The place two kilometers southwest of Groß-Gerau is first handed down in 1238.

history

In 1238 Konrad von Dornberg and his wife 5.5 sold Mansus in Altloch to the Mainz cathedral chapter .

In 1714 the cathedral chapter in Mainz, which held the manorial rule , sold the canon estates in Altloch to the Landgrave of Hesse.
