The Jonava Old Stadium or Neries Stadium ( Lithuanian : Jonavos senasis stadionas , Neries stadionas ) is a stadium on the left bank of the Neris , on the A 6 trunk road , in the Lithuanian city of Jonava , Kaunas district . The sports facility was the largest stadium in the Jonava district in the Soviet era . It is used by the football clubs Lietava Jonava and Fajetonas Jonava , mostly for training the children and young people of the Jonava sports school , games between clubs Jonavas and clubs from other Lithuanian cities. An irrigation system is in place.
The new central stadium Jonava , 1.9 km away from the old Jonava Stadium , was built in the second half of the 20th century on Žeimiai Street next to the area of the Jonavas Jewish cemetery , hospital and the Jonava valley.
