The Altwigshagener See is a lake near Altwigshagen in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The approximately 15-hectare body of water is located in the municipality of Altwigshagen, with the town of Altwigshagen on the eastern bank. It has no natural drains. But it has a tributary with the Lindstädter Graben. The maximum extent of the Altwigshagener See is about 560 by 360 meters, the maximum depth is 5 meters. The lake is also designated for fishing and is home to species of fish such as pike , tench , perch , roach and carp .
