The Río Alvares is a river in Spain that flows through the autonomous region of Asturias . It rises in the municipality of Llanera and flows into the Ría de Avilés in the Cantabrian Sea . Significant tributaries are the Río l'Escañoriu, the Rio Moriana, the Rio Molleda, the Rio Raíces as well as the Rio Tabaza and the Rio Villa The river passes the places Avilés , Trasona , Nubledo , Cancienes , Solís and Alvares .
