Alwin Gockel

Alwin Gockel (born August 17, 1882 in Lüchtringen ; † 1978 ) was a German civil engineer .

Career

Gockel completed a construction apprenticeship from 1900 after the upper secondary qualification and attended the construction school for four semesters, which he left after passing the final examination. He then worked as a site manager . In 1905 he passed his Abitur and then studied engineering at the Technical University of Munich .

After the end of the Second World War , in 1945 he became head of the United Building Schools of the City of Berlin for civil engineering . He rebuilt teaching operations and had the building on Leinestrasse expanded in 1951 . In 1953 they moved into the rebuilt building on Kurfürstenstrasse . In 1953 he retired.
