At the town hall (Salzmünde)
In the street Am Rathaus in the village of Salzmünde in the municipality of Salzatal in Saxony-Anhalt there is a monument area and an individual monument. The monument area is listed in the local monument register.

The monument area on Rathausplatz includes house numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 , 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 30a, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35.

The building, the town hall , with the house number 31 belongs to the monument area, but is also a separate monument.
Others
There is a small street with an ornamental fountain in front of the town hall. The fountain, built in the 1920s, was restored from 2009 to 2010. On the stele in the center of the fountain is a child who is sitting on a swan and shoving his hand into its beak. The sculpture comes from the sculptor Oliver Matz from Dresden .
