Amalia rest
The Amalienruhe (also: Amalienhöhe ) is a viewing pulpit on the Müllnerberg in the Upper Bavarian town of Bad Reichenhall .
The building is a listed building and is registered under the number D-1-72-114-320 in the Bavarian monument list.
history
The Amalienruhe was built in 1908 by Bad Reichenhaller honorary citizen Alfred Nathan in memory of his mother Amalie, who liked to stay there and enjoy the view of the city.

The Amalienruhe is a chapel open on one side with a gable roof . Inside, in the niche, a mosaic depicting Mary with the child , an inscription plaque with wrought iron decorations, a surrounding bench and a wooden coffered ceiling .
location
The Amalienhöhe is located directly on the Kugelbachweg , above the hiking car park. The high reserve of the Brunnhaus Fager of the brine pipeline , which led along the slopes of the Müllnerberg towards Traunstein , was in the immediate vicinity .
